Finished our Sewing Machine Basics and ready to tackle a new challenge? Bring the clothing pattern of your choice and the supplies and our instructor will help you from start to finish. Get help choosing the proper size, cutting, construction and finishing techniques. Given the individualized nature of this class, class size is limited to four students. Taught by Mary Abreu. | Date to be announced 1:30-5:30p $40 Little Girls, Big Style book required No-Fear Shirring Students will make the Classic Peasant Top/Dress Demonstrate shirring as described in the book Provide extra fabric for practicing Make sure you have irons to steam the shirring | We love to sew and we know you will, too! Learn the basics of sewing while completing some quick and useful projects. This class will prepare you for our Beginning Quilting Class, Apparel Sewing or Purse Sewing classes. Sunday 1:30-5:50p $45 This is a class using your sewing machine and serger.If you’ve been wanting to learn how to sew with knits, now is your chance! You’ll make a T-shirt or easy skirt using your serger and sewing machine. We’ll cover basic construction plus finishing techniques with knits. |
