If your child already has some sewing or quilting experience but wants to try to learn some other techniques, this is the camp for him or her. Your child will pick out their own patterns and supplies and will then work their way through these with the help of our teachers.

Fashionista Sewing Camp Our popular camp returns this year with wearable projects for your budding fashionista ages 11 and up. We'll cover reading patterns, measuring for the best fit, simple pattern modifications and embellishment ideas while making PJ pants, a self-drafted skirt and a top or dress. Bring a sack lunch. Most supplies included. Taught by Mary Abreu.

If you think your child would enjoy learning how to make a quilt and gain valuable experience for their future of sewing, then this is the camp for him or her. The kids will learn how to sew the pieces together for the top of a quilt, then learn how to sandwich the layers, quilt their quilt and then bind their quilt. Fabric and batting are supplied for their quilt.

We love to sew and we know you will, too! Learn the basics of sewing while completing some quick and useful projects. This class will prepare you for our Quilt-making 101 class or a Sewing Studio. Taught by Mary Abreu.

| Sewing Camp
7/1-3 & 7/5/2013 10a-4p
If your child has expressed any interest in sewing this is the camp for him or her. Camp will meet from 10am-4 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. The kids will work on several sewing projects this week. The price includes supplies for several projects. If the kids make it through these quickly (we encourage them to take their time, but some rush through it all) they may want to purchase some more supplies.
