Always wanted to learn to sew but not really into quilting? These are the classes for you! Start with our Sewing Basics if you're new to sewing then move on to either Apparel Sewing or Purse Sewing to further your skills on a project of your choice. If you've added a serger to your sewing arsenal, try one of our serger-specific classes to learn new skills. These classes all require your own sewing machine!

This is a class using your sewing machine and serger.If you’ve been wanting to learn how to sew with knits, now is your chance! You’ll make a T-shirt or easy skirt using your serger and sewing machine. We’ll cover basic construction plus finishing techniques with knits.

Bring it and the manual for it to this class, and Mary Abreu will walk you through how to use the machine and several stitch techniques to do with the machine. Most materials will be provided. Featherweight 221 Care class

If you are lucky enough to own a Featherweight, why not be smart enough to take good care of it? Bring your sweet little machine, for a detailed hands-on instruction doing basic maintenance and learning how to keep it A+ working order. Class includes $40 value of supplies in a care kit: 221 Instruction/Service manual Three different lubricants Cleaning and waxing supplies Reverse tweezers Screw drivers Brushes Needle and more Class limited to 8 participants for 4 hour class Taught by Sharon Henderson.
