2/27 & 2/28/2012 10:30a-4:30p $125.00 In this course, you will learn how use the various kinds of fabric paints commercially available. Techniques you will learn are; how to use the paints free hand, with commercial stamps, and making your own stamps, with stencils, resists, light imaging, Japanese shibori techniques, using everyday objects found all around you, and more, to make your own unique, one-of-a-kind fabric. You will also learn all the ways you can use Shiva paintstiks on your fabrics. The applications are endless (in a good way!). You will never again be in the middle of a project, short on a specific image, look, or color of fabric....Make your own fabric to match the color you need... Taught by Casey Green. She is a local quilter and fabric artist, and has been fabric painting for 20 years, and quilting for 33 years. |
