Inside IQ: A Newsletter for the IQ Crew

Jan. 21, 2016

A few things have moved around in the front of the shop. Please be sure to take a look around to make sure you can help customers locate zippers, elastic and some other trims.

Pogo's husband Denny came in on Wednesday and installed some awesome new lights in the front of the shop. It's so much brighter! Thanks, Denny!

Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day is this Saturday and we're having a classroom blow out sale. We're expanding the sale bin into the back classroom and will have some majorly discounted prices to get things out the door. On that day, we're giving away fat quarters of Ellen Baker's Rough Cut with purchase until we give them all away (be sure to point out the customers the yardage on bolts, since it will be unboxed and upstairs). Once the fat quarters run out, we'll have another basket of free-with-purchase items to give out with purchase. We are also giving double IQ points that day but they will not be added until  Monday since Mary has to do it manually.

In the Classroom Sale, we're also including a bunch of samples. When you ring these up, ring them in as a Gift and manually change the price to whatever is on the price tag. Easy, peasey!

Time off requests: Shop Hop is coming up in March (3/9-3/13) and we need all hands on deck for a successful event. Please do not request time off from 3/1-3/15 and limit requests for time off to a single day for 3/16-4/3. We also have multiple people out 2/4-2/9 and cannot accommodate any more time off requests for those dates.
