*Please continue to tell everyone who shops with us to make note that we are closed on Wednesdays.*
It's Quilt Market week! Sarah is out May 16-22 and Mary will be out May 17-21 to attend Quilt Market in St. Louis (and Mary to a funeral). If you need to reach us do not call Mary on the 21st...call Sarah.
With Sarah and Mary both out of town, any orders from the web or by phone that need to be shipped will not be sent until Monday, 5/22.
On a related note: We likely will not place another notions/pattern order before Monday so it may take a little longer to fulfill special orders.
The newsletter will go out tomorrow (Friday) with a sale for this weekend. Be sure to read it (which should happen regardless) but here's the info related to the sale:
"We've fallen in love with charm squares, as you may have noticed during your recent visits to the shop. They're perfect little 5" square stacks of fabric fun and a great way to get a piece of every fabric in a line that you love. Whether you use them with other charm square packs or mix in background fabric and even borders, they're an easy way to pull together a variety of projects. Whether your fabric tastes run to Kaffe or novelty, floral to Christmas, we've got a charm square pack that's certain to appeal to your sense of style. In fact, we've got so many charms, we're not quite sure where to put the ones Sarah and Mary have ordered while they're at Quilt Market in St. Louis this week! Tomorrow (Friday 5/18/2017) through Sunday (5/21), you can save 20%* off all of our in-stock charm square packs when you buy two or more! *No additional discounts apply. Need ideas for what to do with all those charms? We've got them! Not only is Sandy demoing her four-at-a-time triangle method, we've also got some great patterns and books that'll help you make a range of projects: Lucky Charm Quilts, Charm School, Zip It, 3 Times the Charm and more!"
Casey Green is coming in at 4 p.m. on Friday to set up for her class on Saturday.
Sarah has left a detailed to-do list for things that must be done this week.
When someone comes in to purchase supplies for a class, please try to take a moment to point out the driveway between the shop and Sunny's and remind him/her where to park and/or unload for the class. "When you come in for your class on Saturday, you'll ..."
Our last package of white trash bags was used up at a much faster than expected pace. Please remember that only one white trash bag should actually go into the waste bin at the end of the day. Just empty all the other contents into a single bag. It's a small change but every bit we can do helps control costs around the shop.
