*Please continue to tell everyone who shops with us to make note that we are closed on Wednesdays.*
The East Cobb Quilters Guild quilt show is taking place through Saturday, 6/10, which means we are getting some traffic as people travel to and from the show. Please make sure everyone gets a warm, IQ welcome (and remind them we have online shopping with fast shipping).
Row by Row kicks off June 21, which is a Wednesday, so our Row by Row will begin distribution on Thursday, June 22. Be sure to read our newsletter this week to familiarize yourself with the theme (On the Go) and the new Row by Row Junior program, which we are also promoting. We have three plate options this year. We also will continue to display and sell the plates and patterns/kits from 2016. Mary and Sandy did a video for our Facebook page, which is linked in this week's newsletter.
We are a little shorthanded this week so please make sure you are here when you are supposed to be. Thanks!
The First Monday guild is meeting in the classroom on Monday, 6/12, since camp was taking place during the first Monday of the month.
Sarah found a piece of the Anna Maria Horner Loominous fabric underneath the cutting table that has a hole near the selvage. Can anyone shed light on this? That line of fabric can't be fat quartered and if it was being cut for a customer, the appropriate thing to do is to offer a small discount and include the flawed piece. Please don't just cut and shove something under a table.
A reminder about breaks and lunches: You receive a 15-minute break during your shift. If you are scheduled for the full day (9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.), you receive a 30-minute lunch. Please do not plan to take your break within an hour of arriving at work.
New at IQ:
