The Kaffetastic Rainbow Star Quilt Along will be kicking off in just a couple of weeks and we are down to our last few kits. Wow! If you've been thinking about joining the fun, now is the time. The response to this quilt along program has been amazing and we've loved seeing the smiles and reading the emails from customers who've received their Kaffetastic kits. Quilters around the world are taking part in this program, which starts June 3, and you can be one of them.

Best of all, when you take part in the program with IQF&Y, you can join our weekly sewing days to help you stay on track to finish your quilt top this summer. As an added bonus, you'll get some great swag and a discount on all Kaffe Fassett products for the duration of the QAL. Pre-order your kit now!

    Happy stitching

English Paper-Piecing Club
First Saturday of the month (next date 6/1/19), 9:30 am-1 pm $15
Sometimes it is good to take a break from doing everything fast. English paper piecing is a great way to slow down and enjoy the process of creating. This is the time where you can bring in any project that you are working on or want to begin working on and we can help/encourage/get inspired by each other. This group will meet on the 1st Saturday from 9:30am-1pm. $90 for the year or $15 per month if you would like to pay monthly.

UFO Sew Day
Saturday, 5/18/19, 1:30-5 pm $20
Why not spend a day tackling those UFOs that never seem to make it to the top of your to-do list? We'll have a teacher on hand to answer questions and help you mark off your quilting UFO list. Hosted by Mary Lou Mojonnier

#MeMadeMay Sew Day
Tuesday, 5/21/19, 4-8 pm $10
If you've been wanting to sew more apparel items for yourself, sign up for one of our #MeMadeMay Sew Days! Bring your machine and supplies for a fun day (or evening) of sewing in our spacious classroom away from the distractions of home.  Spaces are limited so reserve your spot today!

EQ8

Sarah Oliver will get you started using this great software for designing quilts.

Fabric Painting & Dyeing
Saturday, 5/25/19, 10 am-4 pm, $100
This is a one-day workshop where you will learn how use the various kinds of fabric paints commercially available. It is for all levels of artistic skill. If you don’t feel you have confidence in drawing or painting, it doesn’t matter in this class, you will have a great time and go home with some very beautiful creative fabrics. It’s fabric-making art camp! Additional $10 materials fee (cash only) paid to teacher on the day of the class. Taught by Casey Green.

Design Your First Quilt With EQ8
Saturday, 6/15/19, 2-3:30 pm, $45
Design your first quilt using the leading quilt designing software, EQ8. Bring your laptop with EQ8 installed, any inspiration fabric and your notebook and Sarah Oliver will help you work through the process of designing your quilt. Knitting/Crocheting Classes

Two-at-a-Time Socks, Toe Up
Sundays, 5/19, 6/2 and 6/23, 12:30-2:30 pm $75
Avoid "second sock syndrome" by knitting your next pair of socks two-at-a-time on circular needles using the Magic Loop technique! We'll start toe up, which makes it even easier to check the fit of your socks as you go. Please note, this is an intermediate knitting class. Students should be comfortable with casting on, knitting, purling, and working in the round. No prior sock knitting experience is required. Taught by Mary Abreu.

Tuesday evening Sit & Stitch (Yarn)
Every Tuesday, 5-8 pm
Drop in any time during the posted hours for some yarn fun with friends! Crocheters are welcome, too! This is great for beginners especially, as knitting near more experienced knitters allows for you to get immediate help with questions and mistakes which then helps you learn to recognize mistakes yourself and gives you the practice time to get better with your knitting.

Thursday Sit & Stitch (Yarn)

Drop in any time during the posted hours for some yarn fun with friends! Crocheters are welcome, too! This is great for beginners especially, as knitting near more experienced knitters allows for you to get immediate help with questions and mistakes which then helps you learn to recognize mistakes yourself and gives you the practice time to get better with your knitting.

Saturday Sit & Stitch (Yarn)
Every other Saturday, 10 am-1 pm (next date: 5/18/2019)
Drop in any time during the posted hours for some yarn fun with friends! Crocheters are welcome, too! Knitting 101 by reservation
You can learn how to get started knitting during our weekly sit and knit or we can set up a time that works better for your schedule. Just reserve your spot for $40 prior to that day (either in store, online or by phone) and we will make sure there is someone there dedicated to teaching you how for the first hour of the morning sit & knit. Yarn and knitting needles included! We've found it is a great way for folks to learn. They can then sit with the teacher for awhile knitting and get help learning how to fix little mistakes as they arise. We've had great feedback on teaching knitting this way versus a separate class. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the session. If you would like to set up a private one-on-one, sign up online and then email us to let us know what dates work for you.

COUPONS
Our IQF&Y loyalty program earns you points towards a 20% off reward good on all in-stock, regularly price merchandise. Best of all, it's all done electronically -- no more paper cards to keep up with! Still have one of our old paper IQ cards? We are happy to add your existing IQ cards to our system; just bring them in with your name and email address written on them.

We do occasionally give out coupons during shop hop and other special events like quilt shows. Coupons cannot be used on special orders or sale items, cannot be combined and there are no rain checks.
