I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving despite the need to stay home and socially distant. I missed my kids a bunch and do not get to see them for Christmas either, so definitely feeling sad about that but happy they are healthy and still have work. Since I cannot see my kids, I have been busy doing a little online retail therapy to shower them with gifts for Christmas. If any of you sell any of your handmade items online, please share links with me in a reply here and I will share with the newsletter list so we all can see what our fellow crafters are up to these days. I would love to support other small businesses in my pursuit of holiday gift shopping. I am trying to avoid big box and Amazon as much as possible. I do have some finished quilts for sale HERE on the website if you know of anyone looking for one. A cute Christmas themed face mask would be a great present, too, and you can make them up easily with this cute panel we have on the website HERE.
A few of the places I have shopped recently are Etsy for a cute handmade wooden puzzle for a young friend and organic spice boxes for both my kids since they love to cook. I also shopped at SQ/FT in Decatur (masks required and online options) for some great ornaments since I give my kids ornaments every year. I have managed to fill a small tub of ornaments for each of them so they had enough to decorate a tree with in their own homes. My contribution this year were wool felted peach and RBG ornaments for each of them. I have had fun trying to find unique items from small businesses, although it is hard to find on the internet and am still on the lookout for more of them.
In case you missed the last email, the next shipment of Linework is delayed until December and I have now heard it is late December. Anyone who ordered after 10/22 and has not seen their order arrive, your order is waiting for the late December shipment to come before I can fill and ship your orders. I am sorry for the inconvenience! I do have 10" Square packs of Linework in stock and on sale on the website as well as some other items on sale on the SALE page of the website. You can still preorder some of the Linework HERE, too.
I also have quite a few knitting needles of all types by Knitter's Pride and Chiaogoo still left and on the website, some XCVI Wearables ready made apparel and quite a few retired samples for sale in the store and a few of them are on the website here.
I would love for you to visit our FACEBOOK page regularly to share some photos of your projects that have come out of the shop over these last 18 Years and your new projects you are working on. We'd love to see the page continue to be a place where we can all share in our love of crafting. You may even see notices of our plans to take field trips to visit other shops in the southeast together, since we have not been able to do that very often. We hope to see you on some of these trips.
If you need to get in touch, please email as the phone has now been disconnected.
